Exciting News!!

Hello everyone!!

I have been hand-selected by RAW Artists Minneapolis to show my work at their next highly anticipated artist showcase “ARISE“, but I need your help!

The event will be held at THE POURHOUSE, Aug 7th, 2019 from 7:00PM-11:00PM. The event is 18+ and all guests need a valid ID. There is going to be local artists exhibiting art over a variety of genres and mediums including visual arts, photography, hair & make-up, fashion, accessory design, music and performance art.

Please consider your support so that I could be a part of this amazing event! Not only can this event help me network with other great local artists and expose me to 700+ attendees, and it can help me expand nationally as well!

Here’s what participating in this showcase does for me:

• First there is the chance to network and make new amazing connections with the community of artists they work with and permanent portfolio placement on the RAW website!

• I’ll have professional artist head-shots done and receive professional pictures of my (performance / work).

• It gives me an opportunity to showcase again outside of Minneapolis at any other RAW location of my choice in a new market!

• I will also be automatically eligible to join the newest branch of their company called FOUND: Agency, which is a creative agency where they actually link up their artists with clients for work, campaigns, paid gigs, and similar opportunities!

All I have to do is sell 20 tickets to help promote the event, those tickets completely cover my cost of exhibiting. Your support would be greatly appreciated. The tickets are only $25.00 and need to be sold by July 31,2019 in order for me to participate. If you buy them from me, you get the pre-sale price and save $10.00, as they go up to $35 at the door.

In addition to supporting me and my work you will also be able to see over 50 other great artists and vendors, including live dance performances, live bands, our in house DJ, live hair and makeup on models, and an amazing runway fashion show featuring local fashion designers!!

Hi — I’m Shannon O’Malley.

I’m a Minneapolis-based (soon-to-be Dallas, TX) photographer specializing in online dating profile photography, personal branding portraits, business headshots, and senior sessions. I work with people who want photos that feel natural, confident, and genuinely reflective of who they are — not stiff, overproduced, or performative.

My approach is rooted in natural light, ease, and emotional intelligence. I believe the best photos happen when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves — and seen enough to trust the process. Whether someone is stepping back into dating, refining their professional presence, or marking a meaningful season of life, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel honest and quietly powerful.

With over 15 years of experience behind the camera — and a journey that includes single motherhood, entrepreneurship, and a national CBS feature — I’ve seen firsthand how much impact the right photos can have. A strong image isn’t about vanity. It’s about clarity. It’s often the first impression that shapes how others perceive you — before you ever get the chance to explain yourself.

When I’m not photographing clients, you’ll usually find me with my husband, my son, and our beautifully blended family — soaking up everyday life here in the Twin Cities (for now). We’ll be relocating to Dallas, Texas in 2026, where I’ll continue offering my signature photography experience for daters, creatives, and business owners throughout the DFW area.
