What should I wear for my session?
Sessions are held throughout the Twin Cities — from scenic parks to hidden urban gems to cozy in-home settings. For seniors, we’ll choose locations that reflect your personality and interests — whether that’s downtown, lakeside, or surrounded by wildflowers. Maternity and family sessions often happen somewhere meaningful to you, like your home or favorite outdoor spot.
Where do sessions take place?
I recommend booking your session 6–8 weeks in advance, especially during peak senior season (late spring through early fall). This gives us time to plan your locations, wardrobe, and vibe — and ensures you get your preferred date and golden-hour slot. For maternity or family sessions, 4–6 weeks out is usually perfect.
How far in advance should I book my session?

Yes! While senior sessions are all about celebrating *you*, I’m always happy to include a few photos with family or pets toward the end. For maternity and newborn portraits, spouses, siblings, and even pets are always welcome — these sessions are about connection, and that includes the people (and furry friends) who mean the most to you
Can siblings, partners, or pets join the session?
Each package varies by session length, number of locations, outfit changes, and included images. My *Petite* sessions are perfect for seniors who want something simple and stress-free, while the *Full Experience* is ideal for storytelling sessions that showcase multiple looks and locations. How do I choose the right package for me?
Absolutely! I love photographing both senior guys and girls — every session is designed to feel natural and authentic to who you are. No stiff poses or fake smiles. Whether you want clean and classic or bold and cinematic, we’ll create portraits that look and feel like *you.*
Do you photograph guys too?
Yes! High-quality prints, albums, and wall art are available as add-ons or available for purchase within your online gallery. I’ll guide you through options that beautifully showcase your favorite images — from modern keepsake albums to wall displays that tell your story for years to come.
Do you offer prints, albums, or wall art?
Your fully edited gallery is delivered within 10–14 days after your session. Need them sooner for grad announcements or gifts? Rush editing is available — just ask! Every image you receive is hand-edited with care for a timeless, polished finish.
When will I receive my images?
Minnesota weather likes to keep us on our toes! If we’re rained out, we’ll reschedule for the next available date that works for you — no stress, no extra fees. I always keep backup dates open during peak season just in case.
